Thank you to those that attended the first PFA reference group this morning. The feedback has been really welcomed and we are glad that a further meeting is going to be arranged for next half term.
The meeting started with all in attendance sharing what they thought is most important to them for children/young people within the PFA age bracket. These ranged from friendships, contributions to society, clear pathways, security, being valued and respected, guided, independent living, happiness and fulfilment.
We then had an open discussion around the PFA Outcomes and what was working/not working for young people and how the pressures placed on parent carers increases stress.
The next two themed PFA Sub group meetings are going to be around Health and Housing and the reference grouped helped to form questions to be delivered to this meeting with the answers to be fed back at the next Reference group meeting.
If you would like to be part of the next reference group meeting please can you email firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to our mailing this.
