Following on from the SEND review

East Yorkshire Parent Carer Forum (EYPCF) is hosting a dedicated consultation to gather parent carers’ views on the Government’s latest SEND white paper. This session will include a clear, accessible presentation outlining the key proposals, what they could mean for children and young people with SEND, and how changes may affect education, health, and social care support in East Yorkshire.

Following the presentation, parent carers will have the opportunity to share their reflections, concerns, and priorities. Your lived experience is essential in shaping EYPCF’s collective response, ensuring that the voices of families are represented in local and national discussions about SEND reform.

Whether you’re familiar with the white paper or hearing about it for the first time, your perspective matters. By taking part, you’ll help us build a strong, evidence‑based response that reflects the realities faced by families across our area.

We will be providing refreshments including cakes and pastries.
